I hope you all had a good long weekend and Easter holiday! I spent the majority of mine studying as I have my last final on Wednesday, but I had a lovely Easter with my parents. My mom did a little bit of shopping and picked up some new pieces and I love her purchases so I thought I'd get a few photos of them on. The first is this gorgeous coat from H&M that is from their Conscious Collection which aims to offer sustainable pieces. I think this is the perfect piece to have in one's wardrobe, seeing as we are in the Spring season and it will start to get a bit warmer, it's nice to have a light-weight piece like this to just throw on. This is a perfect transition piece from Winter to Spring!
The second purchase is these amazing JEFFREY CAMPBELL boots that have slits on the sides which adds such an interesting detail. I was worried that my feet wouldn't be stable or supported because of the slit but I had no trouble walking in them and they are BEYOND comfortable. Seriously, I don't think I've ever worn a pair of boots so comfy. Of course you can wear these with no socks (which I think is the point) but I decided to wear a pair of socks just to add a little more depth to my outfit and show you that you can still wear socks with them.
The past few days have been a little gloomy in terms of the weather, especially compared to last week which was so gorgeous and sunny. I'm hoping the sun will come back soon and stay for a while, I'm prepared to start wearing skirts (well, if it gets warmer). Anyways, as I've mentioned my last final is this Wednesday (I'M ALMOST THERE) so once I'm done I'm planning on posting more photos of my outfits and hopefully filming some videos for you guys, as I have received some video requests which is super exciting! If you guys have finals this week I wish you the best of luck and I hope everyone has a lovely week!

This was an outfit I wore last week to work but never got the chance to take photos of my outfit so I decided to finally do it. I loved the all-black look and I like how simplistic this look is while still making a statement. I've noticed I've been dressing in mostly black and dark shades lately... Perhaps it's reflective of my "the-university-student-stressed-over-finals-time-of-the-year" feeling. Even though I will be taking classes in the Summer semester, I cannot wait to be officially done with this semester. I'll have a little break before the next semester begins but I'm hoping I'll have more time to actually go out and hang out with friends during the next few months. I'm actually really looking forward to the next few months since a lot of exciting things are in store for me including a concert, some photo shoots, possibly some filming and my beloved vacation. I've got a feeling this will be an amazing Summer!

Today was my uncle's last day in Vancouver (sadly) so we decided to head down to Steveston and have some fish and chips. It was such a beautiful day, there was not a single cloud in the sky and it wasn't cold at all. I'm feeling much better now so it was nice to just relax and walk around outside. I'm not sad my uncle left since I will be seeing him in three and a half months anyway, but I had a good time hanging out with him this week. See you soon uncle!

The other day I finally had the chance to go into the F AS IN FRANK vintage store and found these amazing pair of distressed mom jeans! I admit to having a crazy obsession for distressed denim, I'm not sure why but I love the look. Now that it's not as cold I can wear these without freezing to death.
I haven't been feeling the best all week... I think it might be because finals are coming up and I've been stressing out A LOT. I'm really hoping I'll be feeling better for finals because I cannot afford to be sick during finals week! I thought if I went for a little walk by the ocean I would feel a little better but I think I'm just getting even more sick, just my luck.
On a happier note, my uncle's in town which I am so happy about so I'll be spending the next week with him (well, when I'm not at school). Also, I'm thinking of dying my hair back to my natural hair color, as my hair is very stubborn and won't keep my hair dark. I don't really like how my hair looks reddish and I am sick of my awful roots growing in! If you guys have any hair suggestions that you think would look good on me let me know!! Hope you all have a lovely week.

Today I had an audition and of course when I have to head downtown my bus is super late and the SkyTrain is not working properly. I ended up having to take a taxi to get to my audition on time which was really annoying, AND it was raining which put me in an even worse mood. The transit system here needs to get it together, they've been having so many problems lately it's ridiculous! At least I made it to my audition on time, that's most important. I had some coffee with my mom at Faubourg and then I went home. Now I've got to finish some assignments and projects for my classes and start studying as the dreaded finals are quickly approaching. Wish me luck guys!

If you're wondering, no, the title is not suggesting I turned 20 (although there is about 4 more months until I do. [Oh God]). On Sunday I celebrated with my parents 20 years since they moved to Canada. It was a beautiful. sunny day so we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and headed downtown. We had lunch at a restaurant called Yew where I had the most amazing pancakes, fish&chips and vegan mousse. Yes, that's right folks, I tried something vegan. It was intriguing so I wanted to give it a try and I actually liked it! It was definitely a different taste from a rich and creamy typical mousse you would normally have but nonetheless it was still delicious. I don't think the texture is for everybody since they used a vegan-friendly chocolate. Although I don't think I'll be going vegan anytime soon, I love my meat and dairy products so I could never let that go! After the lovely lunch we went into some stores to see what was new and then headed home. Overall it was quite an enjoyable day and I wish my parents many more beautiful years in Canada! Who knows maybe they'll move somewhere else in the future.. There was a little discussion of possibly moving to Austria after they retired.. Hmmmm, I guess we'll have to wait and see what the future holds!
I also attempted to Vlog the entire day since it was so nice out so hopefully I'll find time to edit the videos before my final exams. If not stay tuned for it so you can see the meals I had at Yew and take a look at a beautiful day in downtown Vancouver.
